Take delight in the quirky asymmetry and understated organic lines in this interlocking leaf silhouette necklace.

Laurel/bay leaf shapes were molded by hand from 18 gauge 14K goldfilled wire, and hammered for texture and strength. They were then wire-wrapped to a delicate sterling silver cable chain with 14K goldfilled beads. A hand-forged hook completes the necklace. All dark metal used is sterling silver which has been deeply oxidised and polished for a gunmetal grey that contrasts beautifully with the shiny gold.

This necklace looks best worn short, so it measures about 16" including the clasp. The larger leaf is about 58×33mm while the smaller one is about 36×24mm.

• Although the leaf forms have been hammered for strength and will hold their 3D shape through normal use, please be gentle when handling and avoid squashing them violently.
